Privacy and Cookies

Last updated: October 2026

This page explains what happens to your information when you visit sweetsandtreats.co.uk.

What we collect

This site doesn't have accounts, comment forms, newsletters or a shop, and we don't ask you for personal information. We don't use advertising or tracking tools on our own pages, and the pages we host don't set cookies of their own.

Our web host

The site is hosted by Netlify. Like most web hosts, it may keep basic technical records of visits, such as the date and time of a request and your IP address, to keep the service running and secure. You can read how Netlify handles this in its own privacy policy.

Links to Amazon and other sites

Many of our links go to Amazon. When you click one, you leave our site, and Amazon may use cookies to record that you arrived from us, so that we can be paid a commission if you buy something. What Amazon collects is covered by Amazon's own privacy notice and cookie policy. We never see your Amazon account, your orders or your payment details.

If this changes

If we later add things like visitor statistics, a mailing list or a contact form, we'll update this page to say what is collected and why.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have rights over any personal information held about you, including the right to ask what is held, and to ask for it to be corrected or deleted. Since we don't collect personal information ourselves, there is very little for us to hold, but you can raise any question through the details on our about page.

Affiliate disclosure

Some links on this site are affiliate links, and we may earn a commission on qualifying purchases at no extra cost to you. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.
